Environmentally Friendly Paper Bags

The students were taught by Say No to Plastic to avoid using plastic bags and taught how to make environmentally friendly paper bags out of readily available materials to use instead. The goal is to teach the students to help the planet by reducing plastic pollution and waste through the use of easily made paper bags.
Say No to Plastic is an initiative taken by Sandesham to help underprivileged kids help the environment. Under the supervision of Ruchika Chaudhary and Poonam Goel, they gave demonstrations to the students on how to make reusable, environmentally conscious paper bags out of old newspapers and other household items to use instead of plastic bags, which cause plastic pollution and are harmful to the environment due to their inability to be degraded easily.
