Second successful distribution of food

Under lockdown, well-off Indians isolate indoors, work from home and get groceries delivered. But outside their windows, it's a different story: Poor laborers amass in the streets, hungry and homeless.  

This is exactly what our children's families are facing.  Most of the parents of these children are day laborers, drivers, construction workers or domestic help and have no source of income or savings to feed their families.  Sandesham has decided to distribute essential food items to all the families of their children every 15 days. Our second phase of distribution of wheat flour, rice, lentils, oil, turmeric, and salt was done on June 9th. 

We are grateful to all the members and staff who participated in the morning for this noble cause. Special thanks to Mrs. Neelam Verma, Komal, Lalita, and Rachana for successfully executing the event.  Our next distribution is scheduled for 10th July.
